anti roll bar

I am hoping to make an anti-roll bar for my MK. Anyone know what material to use steel that is. Hoping to use about3/4". Any info welcome. david

From memory the anti-roll bar on my old 205 GTI was 22mm dia. As to material I'm not sure.

Snoopy will know. I bought mine from MK as a kit with all the bits needed, easy to fit and fair price, not sure if they are still doing them.
