Think I've seen this posted before, but can't find it.
Does anyone have plans to make wichbones to suit the Sierras track width? Would like to have a go before buying them pre-fab.
Cheers guys.
that was a thought that'd crossed my mind, but it's all practice and I think I need it.
hello chris if you need the practice then dont learn or practice with your wish bones
leave them to the last job coz they are one of the most heavrly loaded parts on the whole car
i am not trying to put you off as i made my own whish bones useing 1" 12 gauge
just to make sure and i cant belive how much my welding has improved since i started my chassis
good luck dave

correct steel
How say whats correct? As far as I'm concerned the advantages of seamless tubes are wasted if you weld them and instead of high grade steel you
can use a larger section of a lower grade steel.
Cheers!
