zekill - 15/6/12 at 08:45 PM

Hi all,
I have a lot of leak from my english axle in one side, the other only a small leak.
Well, i have inspected rubber bearing and it's seem ok, the air vent on the diff is ok too.
I have order a set of new bearing but not sure it's resolve my problem.
What you think about it ? I have not experience with axle.
regards.

Also worth taking your prop off, and checking if the oil leak is coming from the front seal... The outer bearings are a fairly easy fix - a long as you can get the new ones in ok (see recent thread on the subject)....

Its really common, I'm struggling tol find bearings that the seal laszt more than a few miles. On my 3rd one in 6 races now, this one is a different make so fingers crossed its a decent make. The seals on the bearings are rubbish, the oil ends up passing through the bearings so the grease also gets washed out.

the leak is not at the front seal, I have order bearing from Burton but I don't know the brand.
I hope that it will work. thank for reply.

I wasnt refering to the diff nose seal, I was on about the halfshaft/wheel bearings next to the wheels

it seem to be possible to install a oil seal like this, marked in blue in the picture, for prevent a bearing seal damaged.
