Could anyone please confirm that i could change with out any problems, my standard 1.8 sierra front vented discs (240mm diameter) and calipers for the
larger 4x4 sierra (260mm diameter) discs and calipers, without causing problems with the standard sierra upright.
Thanks in advance
Gary
Iam also looking into this. Ive been told that the larger calipers can be used as long as you have the matching caliper brackets with the standard
Sierra uprights. The brackets are larger than the standard brackets to take the calipers.
I hope this helps,
Darren.
The uprights are the same size for both size calipers.
Ring Kit Fit and ask them if unsure

Have just offered up larger calipers for 260mm diameter discs to my 240mm diameter calipers and upright etc.
Uprights are identical, but calipers have deeper bracket and caliper section.
So, rather than buy some old larger caliper brakets for exchange, i think i will stick with the smaller set up. Should still me plenty powerful
enough!

Good idea, you might even get the choice of fitting 13" wheels, might not seem an attractive idea now but when you start looking at wheel tyre
options it will!
Does anyone know for sure if 13" wheel will fit over the smaller 240mm disc?
I think they will fit over the fronts but not sierra rear disks.
Hadn't thought of that! back to square one.
13" wheels deffo wont fit over standard Sierra rear disc's.
14" wheels go over the rear discs and front 260mm ones - so your choice of wheel size starts there.
