Got some new springs but got my adjuster right on the limit.
Are there any 1 inch spacers available for a 1.9 i.d coilover?
cheers

are the sptings the correct length ?

Does sound like you have the wrong length springs...

Usually go up one inch increments.

It might not be that simple first you need to check the spring won't become coil bound before full bump.

Nice easy bit of turning to make up some spacers. You know you want a lathe!

I took off 175's and put softer 150 springs on the rear.
The rake is now 4 1/2" front 6" back ..
I think I'm okay for now but will be putting adjustable shocks on next year.

Just that the coil adjuster ring is at maximum
Fancied a little more thread showing

Just spoke to www.motorsport-Tools.com
Going to order a new pair of 1.9 - 150lb - 8 inch springs and send the 7 inch back!
Top blokes or what..
Cant go driving cause of the rain anyway!

150 is very very soft, a lot depends on the application angle of the springs but 180+ is the norm

Tried them out the other day .. very nice at 150
The 175's just had too much bang in them..
I took the tyre pressure to 20psi and the 175 still felt hard..
With a 20psi and the 150's i feel i could go up a psi or two..

Give these a try ..

They made some for me and a perfect fit

My dampers are by NITRON with a good damping curve.
Having read every topic on here .. 150 was what most ended up with.
some even lower .. this is for road use.
