I am new to this site, i have recently bought a gs moon with a rf 900 engine, i am wondering if anyone can help me out with ideas to do the gear linkage?

I have a gsxr1100w, which has a very similar bottom-end and gear box to RF900.

Originally I used a rod and rose-joint setup. This worked, but had some slop in it.
I replaced it with a push-pull cable from a chandlers (outboard motor steering) which works well and is simpler.


Lots of people do it this way.
