Just looking at rally desighn sterring racks and wondering wich ratio would be best for road use any one got any ideas .or expeirence in quick racks ta.
2.4 all the way. Transformed my car when I went from a standard rack to a 2.4.
Mines 2.4, although I had to limit the travel to stop fouling things so 2.0 in reality, works great. Started with standard, what a chore the close ratio changed the feel of the car, by setting caster you can easily adjust the weighting so it does not have to be heavy
2.4 here too. It's good for the road
Thank s for that i thought 2.4 might be to twitchy but obviously not cheers
Id actually like an even quicker rack that 2.4 if I could get one!

Burton power do a 2.2 quaife. kit but i am going for a 2.4 from rally desighn
I started out with a 3.5 ratio spitfire rack, quickly changed it to 2.5 as the number of turns required was ridiculous. I'd have a slightly quicker one if I could, I think this might be preferable on track, but 2.5 works quite well.
