getrag gearbox identification

I have a getrag gearbox that I want to sell but do not know what it is from it says gm getrag 2400024590 226 and also 24493.
The starter motor hole in the bellhousing is on the opposite side to a redtop engine and it is 5 speed any ideas what it came out off and what it is worth.

Think you'll find that's a getrag 245 as fitted to many BMW's

Sorry my post is incorrect, that number does indeed refer to a 240, read the wrong part of the number. As said above Opel Manta ?
