I was toying with the idea of casting my own polyurethane bushings. There are several room temperature vulcanizing urethanes in the right hardness
range that would seem to make this a relatively easy thing to do.
I figured I could simply make up my control arms, insert a steel sleeve into the bush end in a jig of sorts, then fill it with liquid poly. Let it
harden overnight, and viola, cheap, well bonded urethane bushes of the right shape, size, and hardness.
Will this work? Anybody else had any similar ideas?
