I've somehow lost the washer / spacer the that slides on the spline of a sierra front hub. Any ideas where to get one. Cheers peeps.
I just went to my local nut and bolt store and got a washer that slides nicely over
Pretty sure Ford put the splines in the washer/spacer for a reason?
Is just a plain washer ok?
That's what I was thinking, hence why I want the proper thing. I've looked on the web but can't find a replacement part.
which one? is it shown here?
Ford don't make them anymore and you can't get them from anywhere .
I just picked up 2 washer either 36 or 38 mm can't remember but one was just tight on the splines

Yeah it's 35. It is more of a spacer than a washer. It is quite thick and fits tight on the spline.
Do you mean 34?, 35 is the nut I think.

Looks like a 2nd hand job or a general washer then!
Doh !! Yeah 34. Sausages fingers on a iPhone. Was going to take a trip to the scrap yard. But found a bloke with a few sierras and cossies, do hopefully he might sort me out.
As suggested above, the whole point of a toothed washer is to resist rotation that might undo the main nut... which would not be A Good Thing to happen. I would guess that a plain washer would have the tendency to rotate as the wheel turned, which in turn could undo the nut.
