Hello collective wisdom.

I recently purchased a bargain fisher fury on here. The Spax coilovers are a little corroded and have been sat for some 10 years. Is there an easy way to see if they're ok whilst the springs are off and shock is not on the car?

Or is it a case of clean up, paint put back on the car and if it handles like my Jeep, get new ones?

The latter, if the chrome rods are corroded and will not polish out cut out the middle and just bin.

Ok will give them a aluminium foil polish.
