transit drag links
niceperson709 - 21/11/04 at 12:14 AM

Hi Folks ,
from the depths of down under I'm building my car and I'm in need of some top ball joints , here I can buy the transit drag links but at a quite high cost . I have contacted GTS tuning who advertise the links for 6 quid each but want 25 GBP for postage to Australia Frankly I just do not know where that figure comes from , as I have sent parts all over the world (as an Ebayer )and that seems like an out ragious amount . Any way does any one know of a cheaper supplier who does not want an arm and a leg for postage ?
best wishes
Iain

Hi Iain,
6 quid is not outragious for the transit drag link i guess and as for the postage,it depends how the package is send.
I had goods shipped from the US and the difference in delivery cost can be huge depending on which company and how (airmail-surface mail) it is shipped.
I'm sure GTS will ship the goods to you which ever way you prefer.

Go to your local Repco or Bursons and ask for Balco part # BRE1117RHT, or another equivalent to Ford part # 17996516.
