Hi Everyone,

I have had the 2 parts of my steering downlink extended by cutting them in half, sleeving them and welding them. I would like to pin each end of the sleeve to the inner shaft using a roll pin as a safety device - would this be acceptable for IVA?

I did exactly that and also welded the roll pins in afterwards. No problem for IVA.

Mmmmm, you shouldn't weld roll pins. The heat messes up the structure.
