McGills list them, not a lot of info re the differences.
Ah, heavy duty level 1, 2, and 3. Must be to do with the components used, eg max pressure seals can withstand, stamping on brake pedals for every corner in a race vs 1 or 2 emergency stops on a road car, that kind of thing?
Looking at the McGill site it's just...
L1 = bare cylinder
L2 = cylinder and rod-end
L3 = cylinder, rod-end and reservior
Description of the cylinder remains the same for all three.
I don't think so, looking at the pictures I think it refers to what's included in the price.
Level 1: MC only
Level 2. MC and rod end
Level 3: MC, Rod end and resevoir
All are listed as heavy duty mc so I assume the MC is always the same one supplied

Not as complicated an issue as I thought then! Makes me wonder if I can't figure that out may be I shouldn't be fiddling with brakes!
