My live axle striker will need new brake front brake pads soon unfortunately I don't know which make of brake pads are on it at present and I'm happy with the brakes at the moment it's got Capri vented discs with m16 calipers 9inch drums on the rear what pads would you recommend car is on the road plus trackdays cheers ian
Mintex 1144.
A lot of the locost racers use EBC green stuff.
I use 1144 on my striker front and stock sierra on the back.
Another vote for 1144 (as used on my old Striker and going on the new one)
edited to add that was with princess calipers on the front and 9" escort drums on the back.

EBC yellow stuff, new compound is excellent and doesn't require any heat.
I used Yellowstuff on my tintop, they were excellent and cheap.
Dusty though.
I've got Greenstuff that came with my locost, not too bad so far but haven't taken it on a track yet.
I wouldn't fit any of the ones mentioned so far
Hawk pads are the best I've used on light weight cars, Ferodo DS2500 or DS3000 if you can't get Hawk pads to fit.

I've just fitted Hawk DTC-30, agree with Jeff that they perform great but in my case generating a lot of sparks...
Previously used 1144 which were pretty good, 1155s which I couldn't get hot enough and were therefore shit, and DS2500 on a boxster which are
very good on that car.
Ferodo DS2500 or DS1.11 (for more bite and can take more abuse), both good.
