All,
Which kit cars use Sierra based rear hubs/shafts/brakes and are fabricated from steel?
Reason being is I'm building a RWD ford focus which currently has a Cosworth rear beam/7.5" LSD/bolt on shafts, and I want to change to non
trailing arm set up.
If i can find some rear upright which can be modified for the correct shock pick up and maybe strengthened if needed i will use these as a base.
That or just make my own.....
Many thanks!
That's just the Haynes roadster approach, so there are a fair few suppliers with the same design. If you're looking to modify it though,
perhaps start with this;

Then you can make the adjustments as you go?
Haynes, Fury, Striker, MK, MNR, Mac#1... How long a list do you want?
Habe a look at the early fury irs which has a single lower wishbone and the a coilover from the top of the upright to a turret. May be easier to
manufacture and fit that a double wishbone version. The alternative is the venerable jag irs set up with inboard discs.
