My car came fitted with a front ARB, bit upon one of its test drives I found it was too low and get's battered by Speed bumps.

Do i really need one? Rear is a live axle.

My head says its not needed but you lot are more experience with RWD than myself.

If you take the front ARB off will make a major change to the roll couple distribution. Shifting the roll couple distribution so that the rear suspension contributes a bigger share of the roll resistance will result in an increased tendancy to oversteer.

So, as BT said. A front ARB transfers its reduced roll to the rear due to chassis stiffness and actually increases rear grip. The front end will become stickier once the ARB is removed, which you may want.

A compromise to recreate the front rear balance is stiffer front springs. This brings is own issues.

If it is ginetta i would be asking why a well designed and common car is not clearing speed humps
