Adjustable Pedal box
Peter Perfect - 4/4/16 at 01:13 PM

Can anyone help me, I am building a MK1 Ronart W152, which has a fixed pedal box, but to be able to make the car more usable for other people, as it has fixed seats, I am wanting to replace the fixed pedal box with an adjustable one so differing leg length can be accommodated.

I have read that certain Marcos models had such a box and some modern cars have an electronic system, If anyone has made such a mechanism could you please provide me with details of how the box works or photos so I can make one to fit in the foot-well of the Ronart and to pass IVA.

Thanking you for all reading the post

The Marcos used a manually adjustable pedal box moved by turning a hand wheel which was on a threaded shaft and the steering column was a lock nut and grub screw under the bonnet or at least the one I built in the late 80s did. Not entirely sure either of those would pass an IVA test though Love the Ronart , best of luc
