I'm sure that Quaife's new Atlas IRS will be of interest to Locost builders.
Uses the stronger Atlas internals and can use Sierra Push-in type CV joints or Quaife's Lobro flanged type output shafts.
The case has the same pick-up points as the Sierra however the distance across the drive flanges is slightly different which may require different
length drive shafts.
A range of final drive ratios from 3.111:1 to 5.857:1 are available which should suit just about everything.
The internals can be Quaife's ATB or their Tran-X plate & ramp type LSD.
Fairly expensive but it is an all new differential and should be pretty bullet proof.
Quaife Atlas ATB
Oh - and Quaife currently have an offer with close to £1000 off the 'normal' price
