Has anyone come across a steep steering angle between the rack and column, therefore requiring a UJ with more than 30 dog of angle. My current situation has two at around 40 degrees but they're binding, I have room for a double but it then all starts looking a bit un-engineered.

I can move the column back to decrease the angle, put a double in or find a higher angle UJ/ helicopter joint, I just haven't found one yet?

Any ideas

Drop another UJ in the middle and support the shaft with a rose joint.

Thanks for the replies. I welded two together and I'm still not getting the angles without binding, that's using three. I've a MS helicopter joint which seems to be happier at its 30 degree limit so I'll get another and with the 30 deg im achieving by rotating the rack I should get there.

The internals of the joint look similar to the Woodward units, finer engineering
