Hi all anyone out there that can give me an answer out there to the problem Im getting
Breaks are binding up but when u release the fluid pressure from a brake nipple there back to being free again
Am i right in thinking brake master cylinder problem or could it be something else?
Need this sorting ASAP as got Rockingham on monday

If it's all of the BRAKES, then yes I'd say master cylinder.
I,m at Rockingham as well, shorten the master cylinder pushrod, the piston is not coming back far enough to release the pressure, it needs to pass
over the hole to the reservoir.
See you Monday

There is loads of free play between the push rod to the master cylinder
and yes its all the brakes from what i can tell ATM went on me today at blyton
Its OK at start but just gets worse the more u use the breaks that's why i was thinking master cylinder

master cylinder push rod or i have seen it with hydraulic handbrakes as well
Plenty of free play but....
If you peer into the cylinder is the piston returning or is there a build up of sludge stopping it's return.
Take it a part and give it a good clean, little bit of rust can be removed with fine wet and dry, do not drag it up and down but twist.
If the piston is free to return then start looking at collapsed brake lines acting as 1 way valves.

I would suggest he meant a tiny stone had gotten into where the push rod is in the end of te MC.
