Small diameter Brake Servo research....
r1_pete - 3/9/16 at 05:54 PM

For my 944 V8 conversion, I either need to use a remote servo, find a small diameter direct servo, or go unassisted.

My preference is a small diameter direct servo, does anyone know of cars which use a small diameter servo I could research for suitability.

Cheers.

Pete.

I had the same issue with my car having no room to package a decent sized servo in the engine bay and ended up using an e30 bmw pedal box which has a bell crank set up to put the servo on the n/s either in the bay or inside the car . I used a normal 11" servo from a Saab but the stud pattern on the bracket will take most servos . Cbs list a dual circuit remote unit but it's a few hundred quid

Have a look at some of the Japanese servos , I've a feeling a Micra one is pretty small?

Classic mini ones are small, the proper cooper s from the 60s was a remote
