Alloy front hubs
Shooter63 - 18/3/17 at 08:10 AM

My kit runs cut down mk2 escort front struts as uprights, I'm looking to change the hubs to alloy, does anybody know if such a thing Exists?
The struts are normal mk2 escort not the rs type with the seperate steering arms, all the hubs I can find seem to be only for rs type.

Rally design do them or they used too or try a rwd ford specialist.

IIRC the rally design ones were mk5 cortina dimensions and so were burton ones, which have different spacing between the bearings and a different disc offset.

Hispec do them, but IIRC also have their own disc offset, they might do a set with standard dimensions if you ask and can wait... i'm still waiting for a reply.

I've seen these; i have no idea how good they are but they described as a direct replacement, they didn't do them a couple years ago when i was looking for alloy hubs. The only thing i can see is the centre spigot is tapered, so the wheel will be boltcentric location only - assuming the pic is of the actual item.

Wrong type for my struts, they are for the rs models.
