Hi guys,

How do I find out which rear wheel bearings I need for my build?
I have the rear disc type but there where no bearings in the parts I bought.

Cheers!!

XR4x4 ones should be right for rear disc + bolt-on CV's

Hi ya,

On eBay they only mention engine sizes etc, how can I tell if they are correct ones?

Many thanks!!!

not a fan of parts from ebay myself, between the bad, inaccurate or just wrong descriptions and the cheap Chinese knock-offs its just not for me
(I've seen loads of listing claiming the same part will fit huge ranges of vehicles that are totally different in reality)

any local motorfactor should be able to get them if they don't have them in stock - they should also be able to help you check sizes and if they turned out to be wrong they are alot easier to return too...

try these:

the alternatives are these:

burtons helpfully tell you range of models that use the same parts and the nominal diameters too

Top man!!!

Looks like first one as the shaft measures close to the 41mm, not the 35mm

Actually just found one of the old bearings. It's an SKF and has the following number on it:
BT1B328053-Q if that helps?

This is the wheel bearing listing for a 1990 Sierra Sapphire 1.8 petrol

That is the correct one for the 4x4 by the look of it. If the bearing sizes are the same as the one you have I would imagine that these would be correct. If you take the pack code FBK089 and ask for that at your local motor factors they should be able to order in and you can always return if not right.
