I am going in to the garage next week to have the tracking done on my MK Indyblade following the repair work to the front suspension. The handling at track days has always been superb and I don't want to lose it, but for the life of me I cannot remember what I had it set too. Something in the back of my mind says unusually I had it set to 1 degree out, yes I know that setting is for front wheel drive cars but is was some seven years ago since I last had it done and I sure that is what I set it too.
Mine is set a zero to + 1 deg and is fine anywhere between but toe in is a no no

Why? Mine is half a degree Toe in and handles great.
I though most RWD cars were set to slightly toe in.

Totally agree Stu, FWD cars normally toe out as the action of the drive pulls the wheels into parallel where the opposite is for RWD as the forward
motion spays the wheel out, but for some reason MK's and probably most sevens seem to handle better with a slight toe out.
Ok - its either way if you like - most kit style 7's have very little self centering which is further reduced by toe in. A very small amount of
toe out increases the self centering.
However - go for what you fancy
I've got mine set to toe in slightly too,much more stable in a straight line than parallel from my experience
