Brake reservoir and warning lamp

Hi guys,

For IVA, is there a problem using one reservoir to feed both front and rear brake master cylinders?
Also, in the manual the lamp has to be checked etc. Would it be ok that the lamp comes on with the ignition and goes out once the engine is running? Would still come on if the fluid gets low etc.

Cheers!!

should be fine, but note; often the testing of the light is done by having it as a handbrake warning light, which may be easier

Guess I could do it both ways as it will be an ecu that’s monitoring it.

You can use a single res' but it has to have an internal division with one outlet from each side. That way should one brake circuit leak, the other retains it's fluid.

Cheers makes sense. Will have to use the two single reservoirs and two level sensors.

Cheers all!
