Having made some enquiries i can confirm that there are polybush replacements for the herald/spitfire metalasitc bushes that are detailed in the book.

I pratted about for ages using spitfire bushes and the problems that go with em bolts being imperial, tube to make the bush eyes etc etc.
In the end bought the bush eyes with the polybushes and crush tubes from lolocost darn sight easier and cheaper,plus metric so the bolts arent a problem.For £50 you get the lot enough to do the car and have 2 sets spare.

Do you have any pics of them?

Im just a bit dubious about getting ACCURATE dimensions from lolocost and ending up with something that wont fit.

we do them £1-95 for two tophats and a sleeve 3/8 hole

Dont have any pics Col.They were a perfect fit into 2" Square 1/8 section that I made the brackets out of.It was the bush eyes that I hade the greatest difficulty with regards finding the right wall size and cutting it square so it was a lot easier just buying em ready made with the bushes that I knew would fit.

Do you supply the bush eyes as well Marc
