Looks like the boots have perished on mine so need replacing.
Anyone got suggestions on the best place to get them? Looks like there are lots on Ebay for about £20-25 a pair.
Thanks
Stu
Just get new boots? Seems many such parts come with rubber boots that have a short lifespan. But replacement boots usually last much better.
Amsteer is a decent supplier, or https://www.balljointboots.co.uk/ both been good for me.
Try your local motor factors. When fitting the spring clips use a couple of short lengths of brake pipe to spread them .
Thanks, I've just ordered a couple of new ones. I don't think its worth the cost difference to replace the boots. They are 12 years old now
so probably ready for a refresh.
Need to check the bottom ball joints as well.
