Are these useable or ar ethey VERY different to the cortina jobbies? I have a good offer on a pair.

I believe they're very similar to the chevette, which (checks again in garage) are... marginal.

On the chevette, they're front steer (good), but there's two things

I don't think either are majors.
First one is a bit fiddly

I saw a reasonably good work around for the second one: Drill the taper out, put a bolt through, and use a heim joint (or whatever those ball joint endy things that people use on suspension instead of poly bushes) on that.

Very usable. And quite a bit lighter than Cortina jobbies too. They used to be the upright of choice for building autograssers...
