just a quick question, did old westf**lds use cortina uprights, and are the wishbones interchangeable with book bones.
cheers
All Westfields use Cortina uprights or Westfields own Aluminium upright which is directly interchangeable.
Don't know about the wishbones.

anyone have any ideas about the other parts of the suspension, educated guess's are a start.
cheers
The early IRS which used normal needle roller Hardy-Spicer UJs and was based on an Escort English diff carrier in custom alloy casing but the whole
of the rest of the suspension was Westfield.
The very very early pre-lit cars were based on MG Midget suspension bits but only a very few were built.
