Im boxing myself into a corner at the moment with my brake master cylinder on my other toy, an old Triumph Toledo,, the master cylinder sticks out of
the bulkhead with a cast ally integral pot, works ok, but its not dual circuit, and I want dual circuit!!!!.
I have changed the engine to a C20XE Vauxhall Twink, and all was great until I changed from Webers to DTH Jenveys,
Now I dont have enough room for my planned master cylinder, its too long and now hits the bodies.
What Im looking for now is a 0.75 or 0.7 short dual circuit M/cyl with the ability to fit remote reservoirs I have a max of length of 140mm !!!! in
which to fit the cylinder, I may be able to nick another 10mm but thats it. Any suggestions for something that may work for me
have you considered 2 master cylinders and a balance bar?
Hi,
140mm is really not a lot, as it seems like even the "compact" Wilwood master-cylinders are 160mm long.

Is there a possibility for you to fit the master-cylinder vertically, or at least at an angle to be able to fit a longer one?
Are "reverse master cylinders" an option for you?
I'd never come acress them before, but "Ugg10" shows them in a recent thread...

Do you mean a tandem master cylinder operating a dual circuit brake system?
Dual master, means 2 cylinders linked by a balance bar.
Finding one short enough for your needs is going to be tricky.
No idea what your budget is, but have you considered people like Wilwood?

May even be worth a call to explain yourproblem and see if they have a solution.
