I am lookin to make poly bushes for my suspension. My suspension brackets are 41mm wide and i believe they are suitable for MK bushes.
Does anyone have a drawing of the bushes showing dimensions. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I'll measure mine in the morning and let you know (they're MK ones)

I also have a set of the MK bushes-
They are of the split design, each half being -
overall length 17mm
(flange length 4mm, therefore the bit that goes in the wishbone is 13mm long)
Diameter of the part that goes in the wishbone is 29mm
internal diameter is 19
The steel core supplied is 44.5mm (1 3/4inches) long, 3/4" (app19mm) OD . It's obviously cut from a length of tube with a wall of 3.2 (eighth inch) .
Measurements suggest a 1/2" bolt may not go in, so I may get someone with a lathe to drill them 1/2"

I'm using M12 bolts, seem to fit fine.

I thought M12 seemed a bit sloppy, but maybe it won't matter when they are done up tight

Lets hope Jasper is only joking as well..

It does'nt matter that much as the important thing is that the metal tube is trapped tightly between the two ends of the bracket. Don't forget it's the bush that rotates around the tube, not the tube around the bolt. Once tightened up correctly that tube's going nowhere!

I've been looking for a discussion on this subject.

My Luego bush tubes were 12.5mm internal diameter, so an M12 bolt was loose, which I believed would result in play at the roadwheel and uneasiness under braking due to the wishbone moving about. They've now been machined to 1/2" id and I'm using 1/2" UNF bolts.
I don't think my brackets would trap the tube as they are shorter than the bush. That is to say. the tube is 1mm shorter than the total bush fitted length.
I don't really want to deform the brackets in order to eliminate play. I want the bush support tube to be a good machined fit on the bolt, and the wishbone to be located fore 'n' aft by the poly bush, with any play taken up by using shims as in the case of the castor adjustment.

Or am I talking out of my @rse?
