Hi all
Apart from Ford, Peugot and Citroen, are their any others? I'm trying to find some larger brake disks
Adrian
According to the data I've got you can add Audi 80,90,100 and Saab 900 (88-92)
It's a fairly trivial operation to get disks re-drilled to a different PCD (as long as there is sufficient material to drill).
Brakes dont come much bigger than whats available to the ford cosworth range and they will have the correct pcd??
Hi Mike
I hadn't thought of redrilling, Rover 800 disks are about the size i'm after, would it be best to elongate the original holes or drill new
ones inbetween?
Hi big_wasa
i'm hoping to fit the new willwood powerlite calipers
http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=10498&osCsid=6df7fdd54c6be64c531318983c5edb0a
They only fit disks up to 22mm thick, cossy disks are 24mm
Adrian
there are various sizes of disk available for the wilwood calliper, the largest thats less than 22mm thick is probably the 285x21, which needs at
least a 15" rim for clearance. Thats assuming its for a cortina hub.
If its for a different application, you can go up to 310x21.
The kits are listed in both Burton Power and Rally Design, so I assume they will sell the disks seperately if need be.
cheers
Mark

Use Focus disks, these are 258x22mm.
Rover 800 discs come in 2 sizes ---- and it isn't always obvious which models have the big discs most including many V6 and Turbo models use
the small disc.
The early 2.5 Honda V models and "Vitesse Turbo Sport" definitely used the big disc. The Centre spigot hole on th Rover is the same dia as
the Cortina/Escort fitting. They should have enough "meat" between the existing pcd holes to drill fresh holes.
Try this link for wheel specs : http://jallaracing.morradi.com/boltsirkel.htm
Also, audi 80 is 108pcd cos im building my chassis on a set of steels from the wifes 80...
Some older Saabs are also 4.25" pcd the same as Ford
Thanks for all the info
Its for Sierra hubs, Rally design only list a solid disk kit using the powerlite calipers
