Has anyone experiance of bothnormal locost type polybushes and softer comfort polybushes avalible for landrovers?
Just got the bushes for my locost and they seem extreamly hard in comparison to the softer bushes.
Stiffer bushes give more geometry control and thus (if the sums have been done correctly) better handling.
As the Locost is a sports car not grandads granarda hard is good.
Go too hard and you will get a lost of road noise etc so firm is best, like the bushes most people use (around 85 shore is normal for these sort of
cars)
Not sure what shore rating of either bush, just wasn't sure about how hard the bushes should be, theres some flex in them but it doesn't seem a lot.
If they're polyurethane (that rubbery plastic stuff), then the colour is generally dependent on the hardness.
Red normally means 90 Shore A, which is what I believe Nolathane use.
