Afternoon All!
I've picked up a set of 4 ally wheels that seem to be in pretty good condition, but i am having trouble identifying them. before I get them
crack tested, and powder coated, I want to make sure they are suitable for my car. To do this, I need to make sure the offset is suitable (or
suitable for adding a spacer/shim to!).
So do you know what car they are off? the guy I bought them off thinks they are a standard Ford item, but I can't find any specs for them. if
you can tell me what car they are off, I would be really pleased!

Cheers folks!

u need to messure from centre to centre
then you have the value of the alloy/ rim / wheel
ford uses 108
and 4 holes
TKS
Isn't that how you work out the PCD (pitch circle diameter) of the wheel fixings? I'm not too bothered about that as I know that they fit
the bolt pattern on the Fiesta XR2 hubs that I am using.
The only other thing I need to find out is the Offset. (which is defined as the distance from the centre plane of the wheel to the mounting face that
meets the mounting face on the hub... I think!).
If (with the help of you folks) I can ID the wheels (make and model of car) I should be able to extract the info I require from a dealer/service
manual etc etc...
Cheers
Andy
I take it you've looked on the alloys themselves??? A lot of alloys have offset and PCD stamped on them.
If they fit yer fiesta hubs then they must be at least 63.3 c/bore.

Look like generic Sierra alloys to me- I've got two sets.
Cheers,

Okay, I think I have found them!

The 8 spoke alloy wheel shown on the right habd side of that image, about halfway down the page. I don't have the centre caps though, which is a
pain. Oh well.
Now, time to speak to some muppets at Ford!
Cheers
Andy
PS. James, do you have a set of the centre caps in good nick? I'd be interested in buying them if you want to sell them.... If the price is
right!
Well spotted bigandy....
You've solved one of my little mysteries. I was trying to find where my wheels had come from originally... They are the RS ones at the bottom of
that very page!!! When I got them they were painted white but I noticed underneath they had a diamond cut polished finished. My wheels are made by
Ronal don't know about yours.
Cheers
I'm glad I could be of assistance!
I'm still trying to figure out the offset of my wheels. I've not had chance to dig them out of storage just yet to see if it is marked on
them anywhere, and Mr Google isn't helping much...
I'm also trying to locate the right sort of wheel nuts for these wheels. I'm not sure if all ford wheel nuts are the same or not, but I
should really get the ones that are right for the wheel I think...
Cheers
Andy
Well if it's any help mine were ET37 as far as I can remember. Seems fairly logical that your would be the same...
As for nuts I purchased some with the spacers and long studs I used because of the running gear being mk2 escort. They are sleeve nuts.
Cheers
