Hi all,
Been a while since my last posting, but am building again! Wa-hoo!
Got a question. Trying to find the Triumph Herald Bushes as speced on p78 of the bible
"18 x 1 7/16 (36mm) wide Triumph Herald metalastic bushes with 13/16in (21mm) outerdiameter and 3/8 (9mm) inner diameter."
Demon Tweeks and all my local Motorist Suppliers cant get them. Have found a guy called Martin Mosley, who might be able to supply them.
Where did everyone else source theirs from? And how much is reasonable for all 18?
Try these guys.

I've got about ten of the buggers loafing around my garage some where with the part number on them, they are yours if you want them, brought them
for my car until I got the wishbones then realised that they were made for poly bushes. Doh!
I seem to remember paying about £7 or £8 for the ten.
U2U me if your interested in them, you can have em for free!
Try Southern Triumph Services,Southbourne,Bournemouth 01202 423687 .They have a good stock of old Triumph parts.By the way where in the forest are you?
I would go straight to poly bushes, most of the Triuph specialist will have 'uprated' ones on the shelf.
The standard, soft, bushes are not the best thing for a 'sporting car'.
I think Rally Design does some excelent ones aswell, practically solid though.
When I did my car the first time around (originally all Triuph runing gear .. yuk) I got uprated ones from a local triumph specialist no problems.
Have you got/made your wishbones yet, one alterative source of metalsic bush i've come across is landrover panhard rod. There a little bigger, 44mm wide and about 27mm OD. they cost about 80p each
Unfortunately all the bits are sitting there waiting to go.
Keeping the build as close to original as I can. Not got the brainpower to do anything special.
Thanks for all the info guys. I dare say if it doesnt help me itll help someone else! And thats what the forums all about!
