Hello from a newbie! I'm building my own locost and I need to know the dimensions of all the pick ups for the suspension, the width of the transmission tunnel, and I cant seem to fit bucket seats into it.

Have you got a copy of Ron Champions book?

Transmission tunnel width, suspension pick up points are shown in the diagrams (2nd book at least).

As for buket seats several locost specific companys offer bucket seats to fit the standard locost chassis.

I HAVE THE BOOK BUT IT IS NOT CLEAR ON TUNNEL WIDTH AND THE REAR SUS PIC UPS ARE 4 A LIVE AXEL BUT I WANT TO USE A SEIRRA REAR DIFF.

search for de dion as one solution. if you want full irs, you will have to design, steal or beg some dimensions. As for diff dimensions, just buy a sierra and measure it! tunnel width is just a matter of picking a width, or following the book. The dimensions are more dependant on gearbox choice than anything else.

I would be happy do give you some dimensions for irs, but de dion would be a hell of a lot easier.
