I ordered mine from Ford...was about 7 quid...
I think Marc at MNR had loads of the stuff......

Is that standard gear oil or do I need something special for a limited slip diff?

I think I remember someone posting some advice from Stuart Taylor saying that for a car that light (BEC) they recommended using thinner diff oil to reduce the strength of the viscous diff coupling, so it wouldn't muck up the handling/turn in of the car.

I thought the viscous coupling was sealed inside the diff i.e dosen't depend on the diff oil for operation? The MR2 viscous diff is certainly like this.

I was advised by Comma technical dept to use nothing else but LSD diff oil as standard oil would affect the operation of the diff!.
