MOT Time is looming, and there seems to be a lot of play in the column where the triangular rod slots into the traingular tube(i know a pic will help....will take one later) has anyone any ideas what should stop this or what i can do to make it better????

Assuming all Sierra columns are similar - there should be a triangular plastic sleeve between them. IIRC Maybe a new one of these?
