Just noticed in AdTrader a 'Granada Cosworth LSD' out of a 1992 car.
Im almost certainly going the De Dion route and after reading numerous posts I take it this diff is fine to use - Im aware of the drive shaft issues
but I'm not sure yet that this diff will be coming with them.
Any comments?
Also, I have back end of a 2.0l sierra non LSD, any remote chance those driveshafts will fit?!?!
Thanks for your help people.
The likelehood is that the Granada diff is quite different to the sierra one and will require modifications to the chassis in order to fit

My chassis is not entirely complete at the moment and is in need of a few alterations anyway so if its not major reconstruction work
then.........??
Would a sierra prop match up ok (obviously after the usual length mods)?
Don't know about the prop but the granada unit is a lot bigger and heavier.
I have a Sierra LSD to sell if you are interested but no drive shafts and I think yours are the push in ones so won't fit this one.
Cheers
Mark
edit : if yours are the bolt on type then they will fit

If you look around on here, the granada one is the 7.5" lsd, the sierra one is the 7" lsd. The sierra 2wd cossie used the 7.5" lsd though.
The Granada diff will be 7.5 inch not 7inch as the Sierra but the drive shafts from my 2ltr DOHC are the same fitting as the Granada diff. My diff came from a Cosworth estate (3.38) so could well be different
