Anyone know the capacity of 3.62 Sierra 4x4 LSD. I have changed the seals but my local ford dealer doesn't know how much oil Is need to fill to the filler plug and @ £7.50 a litre I don't want to buy too much.

F*rd Franchised Dealer??? Sounds Expensive for anything.

Get the Spec off the back of the bottle, and go to a wholesaler / Motor Factors, and you will cut the price in half.
I buy all my oil that way and in 25 litre Drums.
A mate of mine get synth oil for 69p per litre, but he buys 205 litre drum at a time. However, he does have 3 Land Rovers.

EP 80 Gear oil, Landys drink it!.
Front Axle takes 1/2 gallon, as does the back axle.
Gearbox 1/2 gallon, and Transfer Box 1/2 gallon. Service that twice a year!! at £3 per litre from Half-Fords

A 25 Litre Drum (£30) will last me nearly 2 years, and is always on tap for top ups.


Tip is to Shop around, and use friendly trade or even agricultural outlets.
