Another question from me.... You people must love me...

Im after a panhard rod with a rod end one end as i think this will be better than the normal.. Wheres good to get one from.. I see the GTS is 17.50 plus 12.50 for the rod end.. Is this good.. It seems resonable to me..

It's as good as you'll get I would say.

Certainly I wouldn't make one for any less, not worth the hassle.

Marc nordon do a rose jointed panhard rod for £14, not sure if that includes rose joints probably not at that price but he sells 1/2" rose joints for £9. here's the link

They are not to hard to DIY, thats what i did with mine. I would say there probably easier to make than panhard rod with bushes at each end.


I suspect MNR panhard rod uses rose joints at both ends given the way its worded.

It sure sounds like the mnr one comes with rose joints... Il email or ring him and find out..

For the sake of 20 quid it hardly worth making one.

i thought about that after id posted that clbarclay. A tad slow today after a lack of sleep... Iv emailed them to see.

22 quid all in with bush and rose joint..

An easy way to make one for a 1/2" UNF rose joint is to cut off the threaded end of a Mini/Viva/Avenger/Marina track rod end turn it down a bit and braze into the end of the panhard rod tube.


Best brazed not welded as track rod end are made of a high tensile "EN" steel and I am not sure how strong a weld would result.

..or just extend a Nissan Bluebird rear radius arm, and use the unmodified ones as trailing arms
