hi everyone ,has anyone eles suffered with a clonking propshaft when pulling away in first gear im using a blade engine,with a mk made propshaft has the slider on the front .the ujs are fine dosent seem to have any play in the center bearing but still clonks ????

a lot of the becs clunk when going into gear but the few blade engines iv heard dont clunk any way near as bad as the r1,,i think its all the back lash in the gear box,,you could try a bailey morris prop pricy but worth it

it does clonk when you put it into first gear ,as you say ive seen a lot of these do the same .bot mine clonks when you first pull away about a dozen times then change into second seems to go ???

Release the brake while you cram it in. The problem is the solid mounts and no cush drive same as my shaft drive bike, the energy has nowhere to go.

Hmm... I am going to pick up my Bailey morris prop this week.. What do you call expensive. Mines £120. I just gave them the dimensions and the flange sizes.

that doesnt sound to bad wilkingj , i would pay that if it got rid of the problem sound real bad mine at the moement
