Alloy wheel treatment

Just got some old but servicable minilite sytle alloys to put on Lucy (my 4yr olod locost). Paint on alloys looking a bit taty. Anyone got any advice on whether it's ok to shotblast then repaint alloys, and if so can recommend anybody in the south west (Salisbury/Bristol/Yeovil/Poole area) to do it?

Wicked Wheels are the guys to speak to. They're in West London but they do mail order. Friend of mine had a set of Wolfrace wheels refurbished by them and they looked good as new. £100 for a set of four though so depends on your budget.

Shotblasting sounds drastic on alloy, isn't there some kind of paintstripper to do the job?

Paint stripper is HARD LABOUR ive been doin 1 wheel for weeks, sand blasted the others in nanoseconds and gives a key for the paint to attach itself to,use etch primer first
