nfauto plastic fuel tank?

Has anyone fitted/used the "small" plastic fuel tank from nfauto? Can it be used with fuel injection with the small "surge well" inplace of a swirl pot?

There have been a lot of problems with plastic tanks leaking.

I would avoid them.

Cheers

If you can get one to not leak, It should be less likely to split during a rear end shunt - ie should be safer.

If you watched A Plane is Born, the guy demonstrated how tough the plastic tank in the Europa kit is.

I am asking cos I got a steel one with my avon kit, which has been lying in the loft rusting for the past year. Am toying with upgrading to an alloy or plastic one.

I need one with a swirl pot for my fuel injection. Whats the latest sources. I read some archive posts last night with variaous conflicting posts on plastic tanks. Thought I would just see if there was any update.

It was the "glue'd" tanks that fell apart, the GTS / NFAutos ones arent made the same and should be fine.

is the small sump in the bottom any use for use with fuel injection pump though?
