Can anyone tell me the approximate weight of a Ford Sierra rear axle, and that of a Ford MKI/II Escort? Thank you :]

totally different setups as the sierra is independent suspension and the escort is live axle.

If you mean the entire rear axle setup on the sierra (which you are unlikely to use all of on most 7's) then it is a LOT heavier than an escort axle!
