sierra diff pdf
JoelP - 28/8/05 at 11:54 PM

hi! does anyone have a pdf showing the dimensions of a sierra 7" diff? Specifically, i need to know the spacing of the holes that are used to mount it to a kit car, and the angle to vertical. The only diffs i have are all still fitted in subframes - cant be arsed dismantling them just to get a few measurements!

thanks in advance

I can't be arsed looking through my CAD files for it.

I'll have a look in the morning. I know I have a couple of models, but I'm not sure they show the detail you want.

hi rorty. Dont trouble yourself, ive made a rough measurement, to about 15 degrees to vertical, which is adequate for now, as im only doing rough drawings. However, it does seem remarkably hard to find accurate diagrams, so i suppose it would be useful if you could find one and post it up. Im sure other people must've looked for one at some point in the past.

BobC is your guy. He has a SolidWorks model of the diff.

got it Joel - I'll post it to you tonight - it's a rough model but the holes are within about a millimeter of right
