Coil Over Shocks

I'm wondering if 300#Fnt and 220# rear springs will be too much? I have heard that 200# and 250# are the best. I have a toyota 4AGE and stardard frame design.

What do you recommend????

Tks, Stan

Sounds far too much to me.
Talking to Darren George of GTS (who is a suspension man) reckons 275 front. 175 rear.

Comes down to weight of car and how you like that car to behave

Shock angle will make a huge difference as well, If your upper bracket is outside the upper rail or under it. The ratio of your lower arm length and lower shock position makes a big difference as well. A 200 lb shock mounted more vertically could be stiffer than a 300 lb shock at more of an angle or farther in from the ball joint towards the center of the car.
