Im looking for a LSD to fit a escort axle i know this isnt the wanted page but need to ask what will i be buying is it a single unit which will just replace my current diff?

And what do i need to look out for when searching for second hand ones ?

You could buy a complete unit just to fit into the english axle. Or you buy just the lsd part remove your old crownwheel/planet gear assembly fit your own crownwheel to it and then reassemble.

Burtons sell quaife diffs to fit in the english and atlas axles.

cheers seen one about which looks just like the unit on its one . So aslong as i can just plug it in ill be alright i hope.

Is it worth servicing anything inside the axlewhile i have it open ?
