Have BEC with Blackbird engine running escort axle.
Currently fitted with 3.9 diff ratio - far too many revs at motorway speeds.
Anybody know the tallest diff ratio available for this axle please?

3.54 is the 'standard' tallest diff. Probably others specially made that are taller.

But fit an atlas axle (capri/cortina) and you can have a 3.08:1 (2.8i capri) Bear in mind there is a "baby atlas" same width as english axle which takes the same cwp/diff etc but was fitted to the mk1 capri 3 ltr.

Sounds as tho 3.54 is as good as it gets without resorting to major changes.
Out of interest, was the 'baby atlas' in the 3L capri also a 3.08 ratio as standard?
